How I Started Out as a Writer 

Before writing for Skwigly Online Animation Magazine as well as other specialist websites, I started as a writer back in 2010. I went on a trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, to attend the Edinburgh Film Festival, and I reached out to HeyUGuys, a website that specialises in film, to see if they were looking for writers. To my surprise, they agreed and, as well as covering films being screened during the festival, I continued to write DVD reviews as well as write articles on video games until 2012.
